Campus Project Director Dave Bautista from MAAS Companies stands at the helm of the West Los Angeles Community College (WLACC) new Watson Center. On Saturday, April 13, 2019 Largo Concrete, Inc. poured roughly 1,800 c.u. yards of concrete over 10 hours laying the foundation for the building. More than 180 trucks of concrete fed four robotic arm pumps, as seen in the video. Upon completion, anticipated in Q4-2019, the Watson Center will be the flagship of the Motion Picture/Television Production Program. Designed by TSK Architects, the 16,310 SF building will house a state-of-the-art sound stage and support facilities.
