MAAS’ program management team successfully takes a project from inception through design, bidding, construction and close-out including post construction follow-up while keeping the project stakeholders completely informed through the entire process.

• Project Management
MAAS partners with our clients as their representatives and serves as advisors to the project design professionals and construction teams. Our Project Managers observe the day to day operations of the Construction Manager, Design Professionals and other specialty Consultants, verifying the work from a programmatic, operational and financial perspective. In addition to the many project related issues that require attention, our Project Managers focus on the key aspects of Scope, Schedule and Budget to ensure success.

• Scheduling
MAAS uses the “Team Approach” when developing project schedules. This team includes the Client, Design Professional, Contractors and other consultants as required. This integrated approach produces a Master Project Schedule for the entire team to use as a tool. Utilizing state-of-the-art P6 scheduling software tools, MAAS produces the Master Project Schedule that is used throughout the construction process and beyond allowing budgeting information to be transformed into a cash flow analysis. MAAS leverages the capabilities of P6 to create detailed forecasts for both the project schedules and budgets that are utilized to keep the project on track.

• Contract Administration
As a Client identifies the need for a specific contract for services, products, construction or installation, MAAS ushers the contracting process from inception to completion. During the execution phase of the contract, we develop, review, issue and follow up all contract paper work, including requests for information, change order requests, evaluating pay applications for adherence to the project documents, preparing pay applications for processing by the Client, reviewing the final work for completeness, managing and validating the close-out process. Whether structuring a solicitation for a proposal involves a design professional to produce bidding documents, or whether a straight forward solicitation is appropriate, MAAS provides the language and assembles necessary documentation for the contract. Additionally, our team will properly format it for advertisement or direct solicitation.

•Staff Augmentation
Major design and construction projects require full-time attention to the procedures, planning, implementation, monitoring and accounting of every aspect of the pre-design, design and construction process. It is unrealistic to expect a Client’s existing staff to take on these complicated and time-consuming tasks in addition to their regular full-time job duties.

MAAS has the accounting, architectural, project management and support staff with the necessary skills and experience to step in and augment the Client’s staff in accomplishing these critical functions.
